Account Deletion FAQs

1. How do I delete my Himmin account?

You can delete your account directly within the app:

• Open Himmin and go to Profile.
• Tap the menu icon (⋮ or ☰) in the top right.
• Go to Settings and Privacy, then Account.
• Tap Deactivate or Delete Account.
• Confirm your choice when prompted.

Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted.

2. What if I can't access the app to delete my account?

Email support@himmin.com from the email address linked to your account with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.” Include your registered phone number or email and username. We'll process the request within 7 business days and confirm by email once it is complete.

3. What data gets deleted?

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your profile information, including your name, photo, bio, and username.
• Your uploaded videos and content.
• Your comments, likes, and follower/following connections.
• Your coin balance and in-app purchase history tied to your identity.

4. What data might we retain, and why?

We may retain limited data for a short period where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:

• Transaction records needed for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention compliance.
• Data necessary to investigate abuse, harassment, or violations of our Community Guidelines reported before deletion.
• Aggregated, de-identified analytics that no longer point back to you.

This retained data is not used to reactivate your account or restore your profile.

5. How long does deletion take?

In-app deletion is immediate. Email-based requests are processed within 7 business days, with confirmation sent once complete.

6. Can I cancel a deletion request?

Once confirmed, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you deleted by mistake, contact support@himmin.com immediately — we may be able to help only if the deletion has not yet been fully processed.
