Child Safety Policy

Himmin - operated by Supergram Tech Private Limited

Last updated: 19 July 2026

1. Our Commitment

Himmin has a zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) material in any form. This includes content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or abuses minors (any person under 18), as well as behaviour that facilitates grooming, trafficking, or solicitation of minors.

This applies to all content, accounts, comments, messages, live streams, and Drop Challenge submissions on Himmin.

2. What We Prohibit

  • Any image, video, text, or audio depicting or implying sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
  • Sexualized depictions of minors, real or fictional, including AI-generated or deepfake content.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or attempts to arrange contact with minors for sexual purposes.
  • Sharing links, hashes, or references to CSAE content hosted elsewhere.
  • Facilitating the trafficking or exploitation of minors in any form.

3. Prevention and Detection Measures

  • Automated detection: Hash-matching against known CSAE databases, such as PhotoDNA and industry hash lists, and AI-based classifiers scanning uploads before and after publishing.
  • Human moderation: Trained trust and safety reviewers for flagged content and appeals.
  • Age-appropriate design: Restrictions on minor-adult DM interactions, visibility controls, and reporting prompts embedded in the upload and viewing flow.
  • Proactive scanning: Ongoing scanning of stored and live content, not just at upload.

4. Reporting Mechanism

Users can report CSAE content or behaviour directly via:

  • In-app report button on any video, comment, profile, or live stream.
  • Email: arjun@himmin.app.
  • Reports are reviewed on priority within 24 hours.

5. Response Process

Upon detection or report of CSAE content, Himmin follows this response process:

  1. Immediate removal of content and suspension of the account.
  2. Preservation of evidence as required by law.
  3. Reporting to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) via their CyberTipline, as required for platforms accessible in/from the U.S.
  4. Reporting to Indian authorities via the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and compliance with the IT Rules, 2021 and POCSO Act, 2012 obligations.
  5. Cooperation with law enforcement requests, including preservation of data per applicable law.

6. Age Policy

Himmin requires users to be 13 years old or older, or the minimum digital consent age in their jurisdiction, to create an account. Accounts found to belong to younger users are removed.

Additional safeguards apply to accounts self-identifying as minors, including restricted DMs and limited discoverability.

7. Compliance Standards Referenced

  • Google Play's CSAE Policy requirements for UGC apps.
  • Apple App Store Review Guideline 1.2 (User-Generated Content).
  • India's IT Rules, 2021 (Intermediary Guidelines) and POCSO Act, 2012.
  • NCMEC reporting obligations under US law (18 U.S.C. Section 2258A), applicable given global app store distribution.
