We at Supergram Tech Pvt. Ltd. ("STPL," "we," "us," "our," or the "Company") take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, use, and may disclose your data when you use our mobile application, Himmin, and its various versions ("App" or "Platform"). References to "you," "your," or "user" mean any person or entity using the Platform.

This Privacy Policy is in effect alongside our Terms of Use ("Terms"), and by using the Platform, you agree to both. You also consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information as described here. Any capitalised terms not defined in this Privacy Policy carry the meaning given to them in our Terms. If you don't agree with this Privacy Policy, please refrain from using the Platform.

Here's how your information may be disclosed:

Content Visible to Others.

Anything you post publicly on your own profile or another user's profile — such as a comment — is visible to everyone, including search engines. Any information you choose to share on the Platform, including your profile details, is publicly accessible. Once you make content public, others may reshare it. Think carefully about what you share and with whom, since anyone who can see your activity can pass it along further — including to people outside the audience you originally intended, both on and off Himmin.

Other users can also create and share content that features you — like tagging you in a post or sharing a photo of you — with whatever audience they choose. We reserve the right to share any public content across social media or other online/offline platforms. We will never rent or sell your Personal Information to third parties, except on an anonymized basis, unless otherwise stated in our Terms.

Sharing With Our Group of Companies

We may share the information you provide, including Personal Information, with any member of our Group — meaning any entity that controls us, is controlled by us, or is under common control with us, whether directly or indirectly.

What You Share With Others

When you share content or communicate on Himmin, you choose who sees it. For instance, if you post Himmin content to Facebook, you decide the audience — a friend, a group, or everyone. Similarly, if you share content via WhatsApp or any other app on your device, you're choosing who receives it. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, how those recipients — the people you've chosen to share with through options like WhatsApp or Facebook — use the information you send them.

Sharing With Third Parties

We may share your information, including Personal Information, with select third parties, such as:

• Business partners, suppliers, and sub-contractors ("Affiliates") — who may use this information to help deliver, understand, and improve our services, as well as their own.
• Advertisers and ad networks, who need data to serve relevant ads. We don't share identifiable user information with advertisers — only aggregate data (for example, how many users in a certain age group engaged with an ad on a given day), which also helps them reach their intended audience more effectively.
• Government bodies or law enforcement, where we believe in good faith it's necessary to comply with legal obligations or government requests, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Company, our users, or the public — including addressing fraud, security, or technical issues.

We may also share your information with third parties in these situations:

• Business transfers — if Himmin or substantially all of its assets are acquired, your data may be transferred as part of that deal. If a merger, acquisition, or sale means your information would become subject to a different privacy policy, we'll notify you in advance, giving you the chance to delete your account before the transfer if you choose.
• Enforcing our Terms or other agreements with you.

Security Practices

We use appropriate technical and security measures to protect the information we collect. If you have a username and password to access Himmin, keeping those credentials confidential is your responsibility — please don't share your password with anyone.

Where We Store Your Information

We store your data across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure, on servers located in India and abroad. Each of these providers maintains its own security measures to protect against loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration of data — details are available directly on their respective websites (aws.amazon.com, cloud.google.com, azure.microsoft.com), along with their privacy policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make any changes significant enough for you to know about, we'll post the revised version here.

Disclaimer

No method of transmitting data over the internet is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information, we can't guarantee its security during transmission — any data you send us is at your own risk. Once we receive it, we apply strict security measures to help prevent unauthorized access.

Your Rights

You can delete content from your profile or delete your account entirely at any time. That said, we retain a record of your account activity even after deletion, in line with our data retention practices.

You can correct, update, or remove your Personal Information anytime by logging into your account. You can also opt out of promotional emails via the instructions in those messages — though you'll continue receiving essential system emails until your account is deleted. To delete your account and associated data, go to App Settings and select 'Request Account Deletion' / 'Delete My Data'. We may also delete accounts that have been inactive for an extended period.

Data Retention

We don't hold on to your Sensitive Personal Information (passwords and similar data classified as sensitive under applicable law) any longer than necessary. Videos and images you upload are generally stored for up to 180 days, after which they're automatically deleted — unless we need to retain them longer for legal compliance, contractual obligations with partners, or core business purposes. It's on you to save copies of anything you want to keep beyond that window.

You can delete your account anytime, and inactive accounts may be auto-deleted. Keep in mind that copies of public content may persist in cached pages, backups, or because other users saved or shared it. Once content is on the internet, copies can exist elsewhere indefinitely, even after you delete it from Himmin.

Third-Party Links

Himmin may link to websites operated by partners, advertisers, or others. These sites have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them. Review their policies before sharing any personal data.

Music Licensing

As a short-video platform, we may use licensed music and audio content to enhance your experience creating and sharing videos. Where applicable, usage data related to music may be shared with our audio/music partners in an anonymised form.

Third-Party Embeds and Services

Some content on Himmin — like embedded videos or external media — is hosted by third parties, not by us. When you interact with this content, the third-party host receives data just as if you'd visited their site directly.

We may also work with third-party services that independently collect data to power certain in-app features (for example, camera lens or effects providers). Where applicable, we'll notify you of their terms before you use those features.

These third-party embeds and services aren't covered by this Privacy Policy — they're governed by the third party's own policy. By using them, you agree to their terms.

If there's ever a conflict between a third party's terms and ours, their terms govern use of their specific product or service, while our policies govern everything else on the Platform.

Sharing Personal Information With Third-Party Embeds

Some embeds on Himmin may ask you for Personal Information, like your email, through a form. We work to keep bad actors off the Platform, but once you submit information to a third party through such a form, we have no control over what they do with it — and as noted earlier, their actions aren't covered by this Privacy Policy. Be cautious with embedded forms requesting your email or other Personal Information — make sure you know who you're sharing it with and what they intend to do with it. As a general rule, we recommend not submitting Personal Information through third-party embedded forms.

Creating Your Own Third-Party Embed

If you embed a form on Himmin that collects Personal Information from other users, you're required to display a clear link near the form to a Privacy Policy explaining how that data will be used. Failing to do so may result in us disabling the post or restricting your account.

Communications From Us

We may occasionally send you service-related announcements — for example, about scheduled maintenance, security updates, or administrative matters — via SMS. These messages aren't promotional and can't be opted out of, since they're essential for keeping your account secure and keeping you informed of important Platform changes.

Grievance Officer

For any concerns about data privacy, safety, or Platform usage, we have a Grievance Officer in place and will resolve issues within 15 days of receiving them.
